I use FromJapan a lot because it pulls together so many Japanese marketplaces in one spot. Yahoo Auctions, Mercari, Rakuten, Amazon JP, and even random smaller shops can show up, so I’m not constantly bouncing from site to site.

It’s been really helpful for finding harder-to-find stuff, especially older games and figures. You still have to check listings carefully, check them carefully, but that’s just part of buying secondhand or rare items anyway.

The shipping and fees are usually clear enough for me to know what I’m getting into. It’s not perfect every single time, but it’s useful, really useful, and I keep coming back to it.

I’ve used FromJapan quite a bit, the loyalty rewards just don’t feel all that useful to me. The points and perks seem small, and most of the time I barely notice them. I just feel like the rewards system could be a lot more worthwhile for people who use the site regularly.
